I never intended upon putting all my eggs in one basket but for the past week during football season, I find close to 40% of my traffic is coming from my football Hubs - mainly the cheerleader uniform.
All traffic is good but this is traffic that doesn't really help me - will my Hub scores plummet once the football season slows my overall traffic.
Any past similar experiences you can share?
You caught me
Like any hot blooded male would do,I have bookmarked your cheerleader hub,and I am now going back to check out your bikina hub.
Well at least it's an annual thing so you'll get repeat traffic next year - you just need to find a similar niche for the rest of the year - basketball cheer leaders etc!
I had a lot of traffic to my Final Fantasy hubs - that's waning now, but I found a new niche with my Civilization hubs - so I keep on finding something to replace the old - eventually I'll be able to re-do my FF ones when they release a new game!
I wouldn't worry too much. Once football season slows, just keep writing about current topics. You should be very happy, at the moment you're gathering a large amount of traffic, some of which may look at your other Hubs or even follow you. You're basically building up a fan base!

I found at least one other from Hubpages, but only my recipe has my name on it, so it's hard to tell if the other posts are all from HP or not. If you write recipes it would be worth your while to check. There are also articles such...

Are Pinterest users mainly interested in images rather than content? Some of my hubs have several Pinterest pins. But I don't seem to get very much traffic from there. It seems like many Pinterest users are interested in the images but not the content behind them. Do you think Pinterest users are...

I love HubPages, I feel that I have learned so much here and my confidence in writing non-fiction took such a huge leap when I was invited onto the Apprenticeship program last year. I have met some wonderful people here - both staff and other Hubbers. But as may other people have said, the idling...

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...
