I am confused how the Amazon affiliate works...
I spoke to someone at Amazon and they said that I have to add the link to any product on their site, nothing is done from their end.
Is that correct?
This is very different from adsense, where they automatically put adds.
Also on my affiliate page, Adsense says "active"
where as Amazon says "set"
Amazon was no help, although I did fully fill in all the information as hubpages directed on the Amazon affiliate site.
Any help or explanation of how Amazon affiliate works would be apprecitated.
"Set" means active for Amazon. Yes, you have do manually insert the Amazon capsules into your hubs, then select appropriate products. You can also use Amazon affiliate links in text, but no more than 2 of these are allowed in each hub.

I am confused about putting a product on my hub. I can do the product, but if I try to imbed the description, it is HTML. I cannot find an answer at Amazon or in the FAQ here. I am a new associate. Thanks.
