I am trying to publish my first hub page and am having trouble with the "unique web address." No matter what I do I get an error message and cannot continue. How do most people do it? Why do I need a unique web address?
What is the error message?
(Someone will probably follow up when you answer.)
It's likely you've got one of three problems:
1. The web address is already taken. If it's something like hubpages.com/easy-money, chances are someone already used it. Even if a hub is removed or hasn't been published yet, you can't use that addresss.
2. You're trying to use spaces. In a web address you can't have spaces so try either dashes between words or grouping the words together:
3. You're using characters that can't be used in a web address. You'll find it easiest just using numbers and alphabet letters. Some things you can't use include $ and &.

I was wondering about the "Give your Hub a unique web address" section in Start a new hub. It fills in with my topic title. What am I suppose to do from there? Do I need to add something? Thanks,Shell

I just published a new article called "Interesting Guns in Gaming". Unfortunately, the web address for this article used the original name of the article "Top Three Guns in Gaming". Do I have to do something before publishing?
