When I try to select a category, I get an "error on the page" alert and I can't create a new Hub.
May be browser problem. If you are not using Firefox or Chrome, try them.
I haven't created a hub today, so I can't tell. You've created hubs before, so I'm sure you already know how to create a hub. The only thing I could think of is a glitch in HP. I have been noticing today that it's taking a long time for HP puter to do simple functions like "reply." You asked this question 11 hours ago, so I hope you're able to create your hub by now. Let us know.
