I was wondering why I had an ad on my hub from media.net. Are these hub ads? I have my hub ads turned off.
What do you mean by having your adverts turned off?
Hubpages Ads only run if you turn them on. However Adsense will still run whether you have them connected as an affiliate or note - just Hubpages will get 100% of profits from those adverts.
The only way to completely turn off Adsense is to go into the individual hubs options on the right and select "low" or "none" for advertising.
I'm pretty sure Hubpages will still show hub ads in their 40% if they choose to.
