I have noticed that at the end of my hubs the usual follow box is now unfollow on all of my hubs. This happened at the same time as I activated the sub domain. Can someone tell me why please. I was aware I would lose tweet and facebook numbers but now where I had say; 15 followers it now says 15 unfollow. I understand people unfollow but this is across over one hundred hubs and the exact same number went to unfollow from follow within a day. Thank you in advance.
Hey Gabriel,
The reason YOU see "unfollow" is because you are now following your own hubs. HP made a ridiculous change in formatting.
Under "my account", "email setting", you now have a box that is checked for you to follow your own hubs, so you will receive emails for those who comment on the hubs.
I saw this same thing. You can click on "unfollow" and stop following your own hubs, and you should still receive emails notifications for comments left on your hubs.
I have unfollowed all my hubs and still get email notifications about comments on my hubs. I found this change to be ridiculous.
Thank you for your quick response Cagsil
I know I sound dim asking this but how do I get rid of it; 15 plus unfollow doesn't look particularly engaging. It looks like everyone got bored and left the building.
So confusing!
It only looks that way to YOU, because YOU are following the hub.
If a reader looks at the hub, it will show that 15 people are following the hub.
OOOPS... sorry having a G&T; but now I get it. Tanx again; I now have heaps of unfollowing to do; yippee.

I am literally sick and tired of people who follow you, and then, when you follow them back, they promptly unfollow you. Really, people? What do you do when someone unfollows you shortly after you follow them? Do you hunt them down and unfollow them as well? Do you send them mail saying what they...

I have been working on unfollowing people.I hate doing that, because I know sometimes people get insulted. I mean no insult.I like to give people a fair chance to engross me, but if they haven't been able to do that, I just don't want to see their links popping up. It doesn't mean they...

Why do followers stop following ?I have lost 3 followers this week for no apparent reason. I wonder what people's reasons are for unfollowing each other. Why follow in the first place? My suspicious mind tells me it is people who only followed me originally to try to increase their own flock of...

I know we can "stop following hubs" by clicking that option on the email notification etc. but what about hubs that we don't get email notifications for. In my notifications on site "Top 20 Female Singers of All Time" is continually showing up. I did read this hub once and...

It seems that some people stop reading comments left at a hub after the hub author has responded to whatever comment they've left. This is only a guess because I've read some people's comments (other than the author's responses) and they've brought up something in addition to what was said in the...

I noticed recently after I followed someone in error, that I couldn't stop following them. Is this a new feature that when we follow another hubber, it's for ever now? Because this function is not working!
