            I do and I hope that all of my fans are my fans because they really do want to read what I write and for no other reason...thereby making the 1000 mark all the more meaningful.

             I don't become a fan just because someone becomes my fan.  It's not fair to them because I'm not going to read 1000 hubs..so it's pointless.  I become a fan to someone when I really am interested in either the way they write or more often than not what topics they write about.

                That's cool if that's how you see it.
                I become a fan of lots of people even if I don't get a chance to read all their writings.  One great hub can make me a fan of somebody!  Then I'm usually interested in reading more later or at the very least checking their profiles or writings at intervals to see what's new or how they're doing.  Some I've grown to consider good friends and/or mentors and can continue to learn from and interact with.  Also, some of their activity shows up on my Hubfeed to pique my interest. 
                
                Basically I'm bumping this thread again.  ha.  Hope you get to 1000 followers before the night's over!
