HubPages: Free methods to make traffic

Updated on May 24, 2011

Does making money require money?

There are many methods you can follow to optimize the potential of your site, hub-pages or business to generate traffic. You don’t have to spend money at all; all you need is to get a fighting. You need to be eager and to do hard work and research to get more traffic for your business.

Forums and online communities

You need to find a group interested in your business or the website that you designed. You can discuss about things about your business there or you can represent some offer. In forums discussion you can build a good agent for your company. Impress them with your range of experience and knowledge.

Newsletters

Provide your community with a catalog of your articles. If you make it really interesting more people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people. The more people who sign up for your newsletter, the more traffic you'll get to your site.

Trading links with other sites

Reach an agreement with another webmaster. Exchanging links, will benefit both sites. Every traffic that goes to your site could potentially click on the link of the other site. This will work better when both sites are of the same target. If you're a hubber click on add widget under profile picture of people you're following and ask them to do the same with you.

Write good content and key words for your site

Search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases website use and how they are used. You have to make content for your site that is entertaining as well as informational. It should provide certain requirements as well as great quality. If you're not a good writer "like me" try to make it short and targeting and it's better to write clear paragraphs with descriptive side titles.
