Wondering why a letter A has appeared on your page at the end of your title on your hub statics page? It’s been explained as missing summary right? Even I had the same question popped up when it happened to me. Since I had absolutely no clue, I decided to check about it. Finally I understood that, it was because my summary column remained empty.

How to remove the A or to add summary to your hub?

Its pretty simple. Just press the edit button on your hub. On the right side of the page you will be able to find hub summary option on the side bar. When you select that a small column appears, that’s where you have to fill you summary.

What to write as summary?

Hub pages recommend us to write a unique 2-3 worded sentence. What they mean by this is to write 2-3 sentences about your hub ,its better to write sentences different from that seen it your hub. Note the point that if you add some popular keywords it can enable you to get more traffic.

Why is it important to write the summary?

It acts as meta discriptions and it shows up under search engines like google , yahoo etc which inturn enables more readers to read your articles. Having summaries personalised in text has proven to be more beneficial as it can help you gain extra visibility among search engines and websites

I've never written a summary for any of my hubs, but after reading this, it seems like it might be helpful in terms of getting traffic. Thanks!
