In this hub I'm going to share with you my diverse list of interests and hobbies; I'll tell you a little bit about each of them, and share some photos too!
I hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about me.
That's not a lie. I'm pretty obsessed with Amazon.com. After I realized that I can buy almost anything on there, whenever I decide I want something I find it and add it to my wishlist. (Okay, I have multiple wishlist's, shh!)
I find that if I am patient (which is quite hard for me) I can save up the Amazon gift cards I earn from various sites, and then get most of the things I want for free! That's the best part. I feel better about buying things for myself if I don't have to open my wallet.
I love to bake. I am extremely picky when it comes to real food, and I don't eat any meat, so cooking isn't something I can really enjoy. Therefore, I do more baking than anything else. I'm not saying that I'm an expert by any means, but I'm getting better as I go.
I really enjoy trying out new recipes I find online, but I usually make sure to read other people's reviews on the recipe and what they changed around before I invest time and money into baking it. The last thing I want is to have the product not taste good, because then I feel like it was a huge waste.
Growing up, camping was a regular activity for our family. Our family vacation each summer usually involved camping, and I really loved it.
Today I still enjoy it, I just wish I had more time to camp.
Usually I prefer to stay in a tent, but my dad and his friends share a hunting cabin upstate that is really fun to stay at.
Couponing is a great hobby that challenges me, is fun, and also saves me a LOT of money. What could be better!?

I have enjoyed many different crafts since I was very young. I still love them, and am now attempting to make a profit by selling the jewelry I make at a local store.
Some of the things I enjoy are: Decoupage, Reusing Magazines, Sewing, Beads, Coloring, Making Candles, Jewelry Making, Tie Die, Decorating Furniture, etc.
I fell in love with drip candles when I was little and my mom would take us to Woodstock for the day. There's a great little candle shop located in the town that has a massive drip candle mountain that is still amazing to me.
I fell in love with Fiestaware when I was in high school. My best friends mom had a kitchen full of various colored dishes, and she told me how she went to many different yard sales to create her collection. I loved how the dishes looked, and the idea of a hunt for them sounded so fun!
I was very lucky to be able to begin my own Fiesta dish collection last year when my wonderful boyfriend bought me some pieces as gifts. I've been adding piece by piece ever since!
I was first introduced to freebies in my CITA 110 class when I was in college. Our professor had us sign up for a freebie as extra credit. When I actually got a free item in the mail, I was hooked! I couldn't believe that companies would send out free samples, and I was ready to try my luck.
I took that class in 2007, and I haven't stopped getting freebies since! It's a great way to save money (items for free, plus they usually come with coupons,) and it's always exciting to see what you get in the mail!
I find gardening to be a very fun and relaxing hobby. It's so fun to see my hard work result in something as beautiful as a flower or plant.
I love to plant flowers, trees, plants, vegetables and herbs. Growing what I eat is such a rewarding experience!
Hiking is something that usually went along with camping when I was younger. I loved exploring new trails, and seeing the amazing views from the top of mountains. Finding a hidden lake, and staying in a lean-to in the wild, was always such fun.
I really still love hiking, and am trying to get back into it for fun and for exercise.
The video below shows a few places I love to hike, and I'm lucky enough they're all by my house!

I love nail polish! Having my nails done is a great way to make me feel more put together. I love to do my own nails because it's so much cheaper than going to get a manicure! (I also HATE when people file my nails, it sends shivers down my back and is just awful.)
Ever since I was a little kid, getting lost in a great book is one of my favorite things to do. I was the kid in school that was actually reading a book behind my textbook in class.
I found a cool social website called Goodreads that is all about books. If you love to read you should check it out!
