It's Magic...It's Magic!!
**MAGIC**
Everyone believes in magic and wishes that it could come true for them with just a wave of a wand. But is it true? Do our wishes come true simply by waving a wand, or is it all about destiny?
So, what is magic? Does it have the power to make a person's wish come true? Are people truly satisfied when their wishes are granted? These questions, with their layers of complexity, have always made me contemplate the true potential of magic. If my dreams were to come true, would I be truly satisfied? Would I stop craving more, or would I become more needy?
Sometimes, I wish that a magic wand could be waved at me just once so I could get what I want, promising not to crave anything more. Yet humanity is often selfish. After experiencing the joy of my wish being fulfilled, I would likely begin to crave again, vowing not to desire more once that wish is granted.
We receive what is meant for us and no more than that. We can choose to rely on magic for fulfillment or accept our destiny if we are not fulfilled. The power of choice is ours!
**Sprinkling Some Magic Dust on Others**
Taking a moment to forget about myself, I wish I could sprinkle some magic on the victims of natural disasters, the innocent victims of terrorism, and those who have lost everything, desperately clinging to any positive energy to move forward in their lives. I pray for a magic wand to be waved over these individuals. Once their basic wishes are fulfilled, they will feel overwhelmed with gratitude. The fairy would surely be pleased, having brought contentment to people on this earth. This empathy for others is vital in our understanding of magic and its implications on human nature.
Given all the suffering in the world, I hope that humanity learns to be content with what they have and not become overly materialistic. While I acknowledge that desire is often the mother of invention, it’s important to draw the line somewhere.
So, for now, let me draw a line here and wait for some magic for my fellow human beings.
