The Price You Pay for Doing the Right Thing
Doing the right thing comes with a price. Doing the right thing will highly reward you but at the same time doing the right thing will give you too much pain, that is why it is not always easy to do the right thing. To do the right thing, one has to be strong and seriously disciplined in the self. Doing the right thing is easy and hard at the same time. I came to realize that no matter how hard you try, you cannot always do the right thing on EARTH. It is not designed that way. I believe that one cannot escape the truth as long as one is still in the premises of the truth.
Doing the right thing also depends on what one sees as the right thing. The world is crazy…one man’s food is the other man’s poison.- Imagine that-. Some people are stuck in the past, regretting why they didn’t do the right thing at a point in their lives, giving themselves nightmares and sTuFf. I am writing this because I am currently in a situation where doing the right thing will not benefit me but it will highly benefit someone that doesn’t really deserve it (trust me..). But not doing the right thing which is also in my power will benefit me and not the other person. What should I do? I will really appreciate some realness. I believe that, always doing the right thing is truly divine but you have to always pay a worldly price in most cases.
And the reward you get is not earthly or materialistic. If you are really attached to the physical and emotional materials of this life, and also you are dedicated to acquiring too much of these material things, then obviously there will be more of not doing the right than doing the right thing. (This is just my own personal opinion) I have to drop the pen now. Peace.
