ESL Famous T.V. Series' Quotes

Source

T.V. quotes are a great way to learn natural sounding English and this activity is a lot of fun. It's a very effective activity to wake up a sleepy class or for motivating an unresponsive room.

Instructions: Cut up the famous T.V. series' quotes and split your class into pairs. Ask each group which T.V. quote they want and hand the out the pieces of paper until there are none left.

Explain the scoring system - they get 1 point for choosing the correct quote and they get another point for acting out the part. The winner has the most points.

If there is a draw, all the groups must write down the name of a T.V. show (it can be a domestic show) and the final contestants must enact a scene from that show. Have a class vote to see who is the most popular enactment.
