Earth survives, Wayward Mankind Will Not

Many persons have stated and believe that this EARTH will LITERALLY be destroyed. But is this

really so? Most importantly does the Bible TEACH that this would be the case?

Let us PEER in the pages of the Holy Writings of God Almighty, Jehovah. We shall start with

the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 1 verse 4.

A generation is going, and a generation is coming, but THE EARTH IS

STANDING EVEN TO TIME INDEFINITE.

Noah and the Flood

In the time of Noah, the WORLD [i.e. the people and their way of life] was

DESTROYED, but the LITERAL earth remained. 2 Peter 3:5- 7; Genesis 7:23.

Likewise in Revelation it mentions bringing to RUIN, those RUINING the

earth. Revelation 11:18.

Similarly Psalm 37: 9 says: For evildoers themselves WILL BE CUT OFF,

But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that WILL POSSESS THE EARTH.

Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, who have practised His own judicial decision. Seek

righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you may be concealed in the day of Jehovah's anger.

Zephaniah 2:3.

God is not a man that he should tell lies. Neither a son of mankind that he should feel regret.

Has he himself said it and will he not do it, And has he spoken and will he not carry it out?

Numbers 23:19.

In order that, through two unchangeable things in which it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR God to lie, we

who have fled to the refuge may have strong encouragement to lay hold on the hope set before us.

Hebrews 6: 18.

Jehovah has sworn (and he will feel no regret): "You are a priest to time indefinite

According to the manner of Mel-chiz'e-dek!"

Psalm 110:4

... where a forerunner has entered in our behalf, Jesus, who has become a high priest according

to the manner of Mel-chiz'e-dek forever.

Hebrews 6:20

The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is:

"Sit at my right hand

Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.

Psalm 110: 1.

Now as to the things being discussed this is the main point: We have such a high priest as this, and

he has SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a public

servant of the holy place and of the true tent, which Jehovah put up, and not man.

Hebrews 8: 1, 2.

Now while the Pharisees were gathered together Jesus asked them: "What do you think about the

Christ? Whose son is he?" They said to him: "David's" He said to them: "How, then, is it that David

by inspiration calls him 'Lord,' saying, 'Jehovah said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put

your enemies beneath your feet"? If, therefore, David calls him 'Lord,' how is he his son? And

nobody was able to say a word in reply to him, nor did anyone dare from that day on to question

him further.

Matthew 22: 41 - 46.

Get yourselves CIRCUMCISED to Jehovah, and take away the foreskins of your HEARTS, you

men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; that my rage may not go forth just like a fire, and it

certainly burn with no one to do the extinguishing, on account of the badness of your dealings.

Jeremiah 4:4.

For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon

the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and [his] CIRCUMCISION is that of the HEART by spirit and NOT by a written code. The praise of that one comes, not from men, but from God.

Romans 3:28, 29.

For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart. But exult, you people, and be JOYFUL FOREVER in what I am creating. For here I am creating Jerusalem a cause for joyfulness and her people a cause for exultation. And I will be joyful in Jerusalem and exult in my people, and NO MORE will there be

heard in her the sound of WEEPING or the sound of a plaintive CRY.

Isaiah 65:17-19.

He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe

the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for

Jehovah himself has spoken [it].

Isaiah 25: 8.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and

death will be no more, neither will MOURNING nor OUTCRY nor PAIN be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Revelation 21:1- 4.
