Free

A particular Keyword Tool tells me that we're all on the hunt for free music, free software, free downloads, free hot women, free games, free porn, free movies, free videos, free ringtones and a lot of other free stuff that seems to make the world go round. It also said that there were 755 million searches every month for 'Free'. Yes, these numbers may not be the most accurate and it is understandable that many of these figures may have been derived from approximations, formulas that don't work, software with bugs, hacked websites, automated botting software and a lot of other evil stuff floating around on the internet. However, even if you remove a decimal or two, that's an astonishing figure. But what about being free, feeling free, experiencing life in its free form? Let's take a look at 5 really important free things in life.

1) Family – Your free support system

You've downloaded all the free music in the world, watch all the free videos, played all the free games, but what about your own family? Can you really put a price on a support system that will raise you, look after you, nurture you, help you with homework, send you to college and help you settle down? To many of us, family is free. The idea and concept of parents, siblings and family love comes free, and we take it for granted as out birth right. Go and ask someone who've been brought up without a parent what it feels like to not having the love of a caring father or a loving mother. So the next time you feel like getting free stuff, go and give someone in your family a tight hug.

2) Love – your free pacemaker

No this is not about dating, infatuation, sexual encounters or friends with benefits. This is about a deep feeling that comes when the souls of two people collide and accept each other for what they are. Ask any lover, they will tell you that their hearts beat for, and only for their beloved. Now we all know that love, as a feeling, is free. You really can't buy love, can you? So the next time you feel like getting something for free, simply look into your beloved's eyes and say "I love you"

3) Happiness – your free face lift

Happiness, or should we say, true happiness comes from the satisfaction of living every single moment of life doing what you love doing the most. You can really tell when a person is happy by the expressions and smiles on their faces. One look at a truly happy person's face and you will see youthfulness, joy, warmth and a lot more that even most expensive cosmetic surgeon can give you. A free permanent facelift that has no side effects, you wouldn't want to miss out on that, would you?

4) Friendship – your free bond with people

Now you may have tons of friends who love to come over and party in your big house and drive with you in your big cars. Sorry to spoil your party, but times you spend with them is nothing even close to the feeling of friendship. Real friends are people who like to spend time with you, not with what you can buy. Real friends are people who like to speak to you, not with the beautiful people you can invite to your party. Real friends will stick with you even when you are down, not take a picture of your misery and post in on Facebook. Don't ignore this free bond with your friends until you lose your big house and your big car. It may be too late. So if you are really in the mood to experience free stuff, go spend an hour with your best mate.

5) Freedom – your free right to choose

You'd end up writing a book if you wanted to explain freedom in its entirety. But all we need to know how your freedom to make a choice, freedom to work for whom you want to, your freedom to feel, freedom to choose a person you want to spend your life with and a lot more is the biggest free gift that's ever been given to you. Acknowledge your freedom as a way of life that not everyone on this planet is lucky enough to have. So before you start searching for that next free gift you can lay your hands on, remember, your life. Is free.
