Don't know if it's the rich ancestry of the building, or the ghosts of the past that attract them, or just the tall perch in the guise of a steeple, but I can tell you they definitely seem to be attracted to the Hayti Heritage Center.

We often see Crows regularly here at the Hayti Heritage Center and it is definitely part of our landscape to see them flying by, sometimes courting or fussing at each other...Don't know who we see more of them, or the Bats, probably the bats but both are very prominent in the building...

So maybe the key is to have a nice tall building with some rich history.. After all the building was built in the late 1800s by former slaves and is still standing today in 2015...
