Steps to wisdom

Being intellectually gifted wasn't blessed to everybody. In the sense that, whenever you want to remember things instantly, you don't have to mess up with your book shelf again and to review things. The thing is that, if you were intellectually gifted and when you hear the first word or the magic key word instantly; boom! But, to those like me (not that blessed with the talent of remembering things as those who were intellectually gifted) we can still keep up. We still have a chance! how? well, studying can always be the answer. Yes, they are gifted but, in the very beginning they had acquired such knowledge through studying too. Base on my observation 10/10 people that I knew said they become like that after studying well. Well, it kicks off great in the future as we can see it. So, in that matter; learning never stop in college right? Learning would stay on forever. It’s like every moment of our lives we keep on learning new things, Such things that are unexpected but literally influences us and sometimes change every bit of our decision, but the question is how can we keep it up? There are certain individual that doesn't like learning and studying as a habit. Moreover, there are people who want to learn and recall more but there are reason for holding back specifically due to laziness or luck of comfort while doing it. Since discomfort is one reason I bet these steps could help:

3 Steps to Enhance Studying Habit

1. Look for the a place where you feel reading or studying

It is very important to locate a certain place wherein you would settle yourself to study. In choosing it you should consider these factors

a. Temperature

The room must have the right and proper ventilation for you to feel comfortable and your brain would relax well, think, and comprehend

b. Color or background of that place

It is a very ideal spot to choose outdoors such as afternoon beach, river banks, or even in top of a mountain truly is comforting. But indoor, I would suggest a place with blue or green background. For cooling and brain relaxation as our eyes reacts on it. Also indoor studying requires the equipment that you need.

c. Equipment and time availability.

When you choose to study indoors, you must have equipment such as cooling fan, proper lighting, and a pillow. However, you should also consider the availability of either yourself or that spot of your house. Because having that timing where you really want to do it would ruin everything if you are or the place itself would cut you off at the middle of the process.

d. And other optional things

These could be the things that are normally won’t be done by others like multi tasking. They are studying, watching TV or listening to music where I think it was kind of talented for me. I find it talented because it wasn't easy to read and listening music the same time. Because your brain would rotate because your trying to sing with the song then your analyzing information. Also ask yourself whether having snacks would help while you study. Because there are people who are motivated if foods are involved so you can too.

2. Check your own state of mind

Before murdering your notes and books as you study. It is essential to check yourself first. Whether you’re in the mood of studying or not, It is important to do it because basically, once you've read or analyzing something without the will of doing it, all things would be wasted. That is because all of those won’t be absorb by the brain since you don’t want to do it in the first place. To prove it to you, there are instance that the next day my exam will be held. Of course I was not in the mood the whole week. I prefer studying at the last minute. I studied well, but at the back of my mind I was thinking other else and just not that comfortable of what I am doing. Until the exam day come and my results are lower than my expectations.

3. Find your inspiration or motivation

Yes, you can have that ideal state of mind in studying. But doing it without direction or even reason for doing such action would be useless. As you find the spot where to settle in for that moment, and you are in the perfect mode to do it. The next thing to do would know your inspiration or motivation. Why are you doing it in the first place? As you determine who or what is it. You may use it for your determination to master that certain subject you want to study with. People say love kills, and what's most basic idea? the determination to win the heart of the one you love. So, die for what you seek. But don't die literally when you're studying its a different prospective of course. Anyway, it's just an example, so seek what you want and use it to find the light in your career.

Like what I said. There is certain type of person who were blessed with gigantic brain not literally but academically speaking. And studying more would enhance those with an average standing when it comes to human intellectual capacity. Those four mentioned above are based on the things that I personally had tried. And trust me, it really works. If I don’t want a certain place given to me to study with, I would go crazy because my mood or state of mind eventually change because I wasn’t comfortable about the place. In short everything is connected. You should give yourself a place where you can be comfortable as you can. Because without comfort your brain wont function well and everything would be a waste of time. Correspondingly, remember anybody can be the new Einstein if you have the competence to do it. And lastly when you have finished a certain topic remember this “one step forward, two steps backward”. Because human in nature do forget but doing such action would assure a definite outcome that surely satisfy your wants

Oh, this would be an amazing spot to study.

Thanks for reading, commenting and vote. Yes I normally would ask myself "Pao are you in the mood?" then if I say no to myself I rather do other things. Like what I said in my hub things without your will would be wasted instead.
