or someone wanting to make the lifelong dream of attaining a degree finally come true.
eLearning at HC provides opportunities such as real study flexibility, allowing you the freedom to choose when and where you complete your studies. With this flexibility and HC's online learning programs and resources, you can study your own way, in your own time.

Del Mar College

Del Mar College offers degrees in Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees in over 50 university transfer majors; Associate in Applied Science degrees, Enhanced Skills Certificates, Certificates of Achievement and Marketable Skills Achievement (MSA) awards in more than 140 occupational fields (multiple awards are offered in some fields).

2+2 Options are available. Del Mar College has agreements in a number of majors with four-year institutions in the state. These agreements are commonly referred to as 2+2 plans. If you have an associate degree in certain fields, you are assured of a minimum loss of credit when transferring into a baccalaureate program.

Lamar Institute of Technology

Distance learning includes courses in which all or part of the course is offered “at a distance”. Courses could be online (web-based) courses or off-campus at selected locations.

Online courses require Internet access and email and the student can attend the class at anytime from anywhere. Some online courses, however, may require visits to campus for labs or exams. While the student does not have to attend a traditional classroom, assignments and other course deadlines apply.

Lamar Institute of Technology also provides courses at off-campus sites. Currently, credit courses are offered at the Frank Robinson Center in Silsbee, Silsbee Middle School, Gist Correction Facility and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
