Brahma and the Effect of Brahma
Where is Brahma Located in Space?
According to any intuitive logic, Brahma should have a centre location somewhere, because it influences Earth (and our solar system) while it orbits around Brahma. Thus, distance plays a role and therefore there must be a pinpoint location somewhere. Where?
Sri Yukteswar doesn't gave in his book a clue where Brahma could be located in space. Although he made clear that our sun is part of a binary star system. This second star could be Brahma.
Recent scientific discoveries confirm that our solar system is probably part of a binary star system. This binary orbit would be responsible for what we witness on Earth as the precession of the equinoxes. The precession of the equinoxes wouldn't be caused by the lunisolar forces, but by this accompanying star. Which star could this be? Currently no one knows.
Walter Cruttenden describes in his book that the angular momentum of the sun is just a microscopic part of the angular momentum of the whole solar system. The main angular momentum of our solar system is generated by Jupiter and Saturn. The missing angular momentum of the sun to create the procession of the equinoxes, can only be explained by the force of another invisible, very large, star.
If the 24,000 year binary orbit is shared with another star, then the missing angular momentum shows up exactly on the location of our Sun. The vice versa localisation would be also possible, in order to locate the invisible star that represents Brahma.
If this explanation is too concise, you can read this comprehensive treatise.
The precession of the equinoxes played an important role for the Egyptians, Mayans and many other mysterious advanced cultures, like the creators of Stonehenge. Plato already described alternating cycles of darkness (Kali Yuga) and golden ages (Satya Yuga).
Interesting question is of course - if something important like Brahma is 'just' an accompanying star, what about all the other billions of stars?
What is History?
History is a series of events happened in the past, with respect to a person or an object. Another thing is that history appears to be multi interpretable.
Historians, Archaeologists and Geologists try to reconstruct history based written records, findings of artefacts, dating techniques and interpretations. Reconstructing a historic location is influenced by inter alia:
- known facts,
- visual observation,
- omitted facts,
- political choices,
- cultural perception,
- personal convictions,
- interpretation of the gathered information,
- and last but not least - opinions.
If we look for example at a complicated court case, it seems to be very difficult to get the facts on the table without any twisting, not to mention Human history where interests seem to be much larger and facts much more complicated to interpret.
If we look at our history there are too many unexplained periods in history to conclude that Human awareness is gradually going upwards.

Our history is still full of mysteries. Most events which are presented as known and proven facts, are in many cases unproven and certainly not known. Most of the prove is only found indirect.
For example the date of erection of stone structures, like Stonehenge can not be proven in a direct way. The excavated artefacts around Stonehenge are carbon dated that leads to the conclusion that the structure is of the same date as the artefacts. This is indirect prove.
What Do You Think?
Do the Yuga Cycles make sense?
Intelligence of Humans Meanders
Professor Gerald Crabtree from the Stanford University School of Medicine explains why he thinks that human intelligence is decaying. His argument is that our history is full of evidence of highly evolved civilisations, that somehow decayed. His explanations are still rectilinear orientation, and he has no other inspirations except these.
So, historians seem to think linearly. It goes up, or it goes down. That it could swing up and down like a sinusoid, like the Yuga cycles explain, is still not be obvious to most scientists. Nevertheless is Crabtree one of the few scientists who are able to think outside the usual paradigm.
Professor Crabtree became controversial for his theory, and was fiercely attacked by the scientific guards, because it undermines the conventional evolutionary theories. An interesting article in the Independent, called "Human intelligence peaked thousands of years ago and we've been on an intellectual and emotional decline ever since" shares some of his ideas.
Professor Crabtree states, that if we look at history it has the appearance that human intelligence dropped, as it allegedly did, caused by the declining Yuga cycles, that had its depth 499 A.D. and during this cycle downward also pulled down all developed civilisations.
To draw the conclusion that genes are involved in this decline of intelligence, is a typical scientific approach, that won't solve any mystery and it also seems to be difficult to draw conclusions about a meandering (or dropping) human intelligence by looking at human history, that has still too many gaps.
Professor Crabtree stated:
“I would wager that if an average citizen from Athens of 1000BC were to appear suddenly among us, he or she would be among the brightest and most intellectually alive of our colleagues and companions, with a good memory, a broad range of ideas and a clear-sighted view of important issues”.
Humans in Athens at that time lived in a culture that came from the higher regions of Dwapara Yuga. Since they were able to transfer their philosophical knowledge through writing and teachings, it is very likely that indeed ancient Greek would be among the smartest of our time. When comparing with the Yuga cycles, the year 1000 B.C. is comparable with 2000 A.D. when it comes to mental and spiritual capabilities. This shows that the Greek philosophers would be regarded as immense smart in our time.
Additionally Crabtree states:
"Furthermore, I would guess that he or she would be among the most emotionally stable of our friends and colleagues. I would also make this wager for the ancient inhabitants of Africa, Asia, India or the Americas, of perhaps 2,000 to 6,000 years ago...The basis for my wager comes from new developments in genetics, anthropology, and neurobiology that make a clear prediction that our intellectual and emotional abilities are genetically surprisingly fragile".
Since science is not able to verify Brahma and therefore won't agree with the existence of Brahma, this research will end in an immeasurable swamp. Nevertheless shows Crabtree as a scientist a remarkable high awareness of Human history.
On the other side of the spectrum there many sensationalists and occults that cannot seem to control themselves in dragging aliens and UFO's on the scenery to explain mysteries of the past. This is a tragic misinterpretation of the past, mainly caused by ignorance and low consciousness, unaware of the fact that Humanity just escaped from the dark Kali Yuga period, when occultism and superstition were common goods.
Human intelligence as well as spirituality is meandering over the history, that is an effect of Brahma being close or far away.
What would be the purpose to create a solar systems that is subjected to cycles of awareness?
