Illuminati...Myth or Not?

The Illuminati. For those of us who are familiar with the name, different feelings are intertwined with it. Fear. Doubt. Curiosity. Dread. The idea tends to scare even the most head-strong of humans and the signs that the Illuminati exist are far too great for coincidence.

Or are they?

A “New World Order”. This is the goal of the Illuminati, a society believed to have been around for thousands of years. A society believed to still be around today, lurking in the shadows of the government’s decisions, manipulating music artists to send across messages, tugging strings behind what’s displayed on television, to stamp a meaning into the minds of mankind. The Illuminati are a group who are believed to be leaving behind clues of their existence…and an ultimate message towards everyone in their midst.

But wait. You might be asking yourself where’s the proof? A secret society pulling the strings in the government’s decisions, corrupting our presidents and manipulating music and media to portray a message? It sounds…absurd, ridiculous, insane. The United States government may be corrupt in different, more subtle ways. But to be played like a puppet by some “secret society”?

Impossible. Someone would have noticed such a group. The word would have gotten out; the government would have done something. And the “Illuminati” would have been another paragraph in a history book.

Do me a favor. Right now. Open up a Google search, click inside the search bar and type Illuminati backwards. That’s right, spell out Illuminati in reverse in the search box, hit enter, and then look at the first search result you get.

You’re not the only one. How strange that www.itanimulli.com is a National Security Agency website. How strange that an NSA site, our national security, would have a website with Illuminati spelled backwards in it? That, you are saying, does not make any sense.

Well there are always two sides to every story. Gossip has gotten out and rumors are flooding the web that a man in Idaho is redirecting websites and fooling around with domains to scare people and cause unnecessary panic. The details are still a little hazy to me, and I am unsure as to whether he got in trouble for this, or if he actually did this in the first place. But the stories are spreading, and it seems as if the Illuminati mystery is digging a deeper hole than it ever was before.

A Little Illuminati History

Let’s backtrack. For those of you who are still hazy on just who the Illuminati are, there are complex, very detailed answers to that question. Illuminati can mean various things, and some groups call themselves Illuminati to represent "enlightenment" and use this name to represent peace of mind and clarity. If you type Illuminati into Google, you will get various responses, but ultimately a good chunk of the sites will be on the Illuminati, a group said to consist of thirteen families around the world, who have kept the purest bloodline for as far back as the Roman Empire. These people are believed to have inter-bred with one another so as to keep their bloodline as pure as possible. The Illuminati cannot be joined, only born into, and this group is said to have one goal. A New World Order. Or more subtly, Novus Ordo Seclorum.

Got a dollar bill on you? Go ahead and flip it over. On the back should be two circles. One with an eagle and another with a pyramid, and an eye on top. Look below that pyramid and you will see three words in Latin. And what do they say?

How strange. Novus Ordo Seclorum. Which in Latin translates into New Order of the Ages. It seems as though we've landed ourselves a pretty creepy coincidence. What's even more is that the eye displayed here is the symbol said to be associated with the Illuminati. The "All-Seeing Eye" is believed to be the Illuminati sign, and it is no coincidence that this "eye" appears to pop up in the strangest places.

It's odd. It's strange. But somehow, not that out of the ordinary. You might be asking yourself what the deal is with all of this. It's confusing and fantasy-like.

It's not making any sense.

Basically, what has been told is that the Illuminati want one goal. And that goal is a one world government. Can you guess who the government will be ruled by? Yeah, you guessed right.

Them.

Now don't think this is a goal that was believed to be achieved in one lifetime. The Illuminati are said to have been around for thousands of years, keeping every generation pure so that when the time comes, they can construct the one world government and take the spot on the throne. However, there have been speculation that their goal is coming to a very near success. The theories are that the Illuminati are behind everything. Movies, music, military, media, the banks. Even our presidents. Sounds stupid, right? A group dating back to Roman Empire times, pulling the strings on our presidents like a couple of helpless puppets? If you notice, many music artists portray photos and poses of themselves with one eye covered. Sometimes they will be holding their hands in front of their face, together, forming a triangle. This is believed, from many, to be a sign that the music industry is corrupted by the Illuminati. The Illuminati are believed to have been involved in every World War, and that there were to be three of them. The last World War is said to put the world in such an economic and social state that they will have no choice but to form a one world government.

The Illuminati's actions, many are saying, is to bring countries down to a level that makes them easier to control by the government. Reduce their economic status to all time lows. Give them no other choice but to accept the help of the "government". But wait, that seems to be happening already. Aren't we in the greatest recession since the Great Depression? And what brought us to this point? I'm sure you already know the answer in your heads.

A New World Order. Still sounds ridiculous, still sounds insane. And yet, somehow these words have been spoken over and over by those we look up to. Is there a possibility that this could be right in front of our faces?

Linking to Conspiracy

Anybody who knows about the Illuminati already know that their beliefs stem from Satanic views. References about Lucifer and Satan pop up constantly when Illuminati are brought into light, and this tends to scare a lot of us. If such a group existed, and their goal were achieved, what would that mean for mankind? It would be a scary thought. And yes, the "proof" seems a bit lacking in solidity, the clues merely pointing to the possibility of the world's greatest coincidence yet. These videos and quotes don't necessarily mean the Illuminati exposed. The artists' portrayal of these symbols, the All-Seeing Eye...they could be scandals, hypes, eerie coincidences. It's always up to the view of the individual, however. Many people ignore such conspiracy theories, disregard them without a second thought. Others tend to consider the idea, contemplate the possibilities...and believe. For more sites on the Illuminati and the conspiracies and theories that surround them, I would suggest a thorough Google search on these topics. There are many forums and discussion boards and even a few scary sites that might completely alter how you think about the modern day world...

A large group of people on this earth believe the Illuminati still exist. It's a scary thought, and it strikes fear into those who believe it. It might also raise some questions, spark some anger. Illuminati existence means that we have been lied to. Our voting rights have merely been an illusion to put us under a false sense of security, the President's choices merely secondhand decisions passed down. It's hard to take in all at once, and I am not saying the Illuminati exist, nor do not exist. I'm merely giving you the clues, the breadcrumb trail left behind by someone, or something. Pieces of this puzzle may not be coming together just yet, but hopefully with time, the Illuminati conspiracy theories are either confirmed or proved false. If proven false, we can wipe our hands clean with a new slate, and laugh off the years of scare. But if confirmed...will it be too late? Will our ignorance and refusal to accept outlandish conspiracies be our downfall? Only time will tell and until then, the Illuminati conspiracy grows into an ever-swelling debate.
