Interview With A Home Schooler

Updated on December 30, 2014

Parents that decide other educational systems, to make educational justice such as "Home Schooling" are being "bombed" by educational systems, not because of the concern with children, but because it represents less money to go into the pockets of those that in one way take advantage of Public and/or Private schools.

Some citizens try to make homeschooling a negative and failure strategy. I wish I knew what they gain with such evil acts. Why would someone try to invade the private space of a family or intervene in their own decisions?

I am making a call to all who in one way or the other have felt that their success is being measured in an unjust way; to gain the courage for standing up with all the rights that the Law of Nature gives and present evidence of achievements.

I know many people that have gained courage to stand up with all the rights that the Law of Nature gives and are presenting evidence of achievements. I give them honor and respect which makes me take my hat off in front of them.

We know a family that decided to home school their son. The boy is now 13 years of age and he has gained more skills than a regular school student. His parents being his main resource of his educational process are helping him to discover his abilities, to perform them and to develop attitudes and ways of behavior enabling him to function as a member of the community. This family has gained more success than the goals of the public and traditional private schools.

Home schools are totally legal

Home schools are ruled under private schools which makes them totally legal. In behalf of the choice of home schooling, the NO discrimination based on political ideas could be applied in this issue since the Department of Education is part of the government of Puerto Rico that changes the Secretary of Education upon the election of the Governor of Puerto Rico each four years.

I am making a call of STOP to all who in one way or the other speaks or acts against home schooling. I have served in the public and private schools in Puerto Rico with many wonderful experiences. I have also experienced the success of home schoolers.

My dear husband and I, amazed of the acknowledgments achieved of a 13 year old home schooler, decided to interview him on video sharing a little bit of his high quality successes. The interview is in English to let those who criticize know that he even dares what others don't attempt to do.

This 13 year old boy has parents that have archived evidence of his progress and talents. This reminds me of: Romans 13:7 "Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor ."
