Is Evolution Fact or Fiction?

Was man created or did he evolve from chemical reactions in a primordial sea?
Was man created or did he evolve from chemical reactions in a primordial sea?

“I cannot conceive of a genuine scientist without that profound faith. The situation may be expressed by an image: Science without religion is lame and religion without science is blind.” Albert Einstein

Science is a particular way of knowing about the world. In science, explanations are limited to those based on observations and experiments that can be substantiated by other scientists.

In the quest for understanding, science involves a great deal of careful observation that eventually produces an elaborate written description. Scientists communicate their findings and conclusions to other scientists through publications, talks at conferences, hallway conversations and many other means. Other scientists then test those ideas and build on pre-existing work. In this way, the accuracy and sophistication of descriptions of the natural world tend to increases with time, as subsequent generations of scientists correct and extend the work done by their predecessors. Progress in science consists of the development of better explanations for the causes of natural phenomena. Scientists can never be sure that a given explanation is complete and final. Some of the hypotheses advanced by scientists turn out to be incorrect when tested by further observations or experiments. Yet many scientific explanations have been so thoroughly tested and confirmed that they are held with great confidence.

Read all about it...

Having read the above you should have no reason to doubt the following extract:

The theory of evolution is one of these well-established explanations.  An enormous amount of scientific investigation since the mid-19th century has converted early ideas about evolution proposed by Darwin and others into strong and well-supported theory.  Today, evolution is an extremely active field of research, with an abundance of new discoveries that are continually increasing our understanding of how evolution occurs. *

*extract from deceptive daily.

Before putting forward the mythology of evolution let’s take a few minutes to investigate what this word means, why so many intelligent scientists around the world become devotees to this concept, while others from the same scientific community regard evolution as a dogmatic belief that is invalidated by science in all aspects.  We also need to address methods used in propagating such material to the general public.

What is Evolution?

It is a process of gradual change taking place over many generations during which living things slowly change as they adapt to different environments.  It is also any process of gradual change and development over a period of time e.g. the evolution of the European Union.

The word ‘Evolution’ first appeared in the English language in 1647 in a non-biological connection and it became widely used in English for all sorts of progressions from simpler beginnings.

Seek the truth and you shall find it...

It is a shame that humanity has not evolved to the stage where death no longer happens.
It is a shame that humanity has not evolved to the stage where death no longer happens.

Darwin’s Conjecture

Contrary to popular opinion, neither the term nor the idea of biological evolution began with Charles Darwin and his foremost work, on the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection (1859).  Many ancient Greek philosophers had inferred that similar species were descended from a common ancestor.  The term Darwin most often used to refer to biological evolution was “descent with modification” which remains a brief definition of the process today.

Most people think the theory of evolution rests on scientific evidence, observations and experiments.  However, in the same way that Darwin was not its originator neither does the theory rest on scientific proof.  The theory consists of an adaptation to nature of the ancient dogma of materialist philosophy.  Although it is backed up by no scientific discoveries, the theory is blindly supported in the name of materialist philosophy.

This fanaticism has resulted in all kinds of disasters.  That is because together with the spread of Darwinism and the materialist philosophy it supports, the answer to the question –

“What is a human being and how did it come into existence?” has changed.  People who used to answer – “Human beings were created by Allah (God) and have to live according to the beautiful morality He teaches” Now have begun to think that “Man came into being by chance, and is an animal that developed with the fight for survival.  There is a heavy price to pay for this great deception.  Violent ideologies such as racism, fascism and communism, and many other barbaric world views based on conflict have all drawn strength from this deception.

I end his hub with the following:

What One Famous Scientist Said About Evolution...

"One morning I woke up and something had happened in the night, and it struck me that I had been working on this [evolution] stuff for twenty years and there was not one thing I knew about it. That's quite a shock to learn that one can be so misled so long. Either there was something wrong with me or there was something wrong with evolutionary theory. Naturally, I know there is nothing wrong with me..."

"[The] question is: Can you tell me anything you KNOW about Evolution? Any one thing? Any one thing that is true? I tried that question on the geology staff at the Field Museum of Natural History and the only answer I got was silence. I tried it on the members of the Evolutionary Morphology Seminar in the University of Chicago, a very prestigious body of Evolutionists, and all I got there was silence for a long time, and eventually one person said, 'I do know one thing - it ought not to be taught in high school'."
