Just Chill-un!

Updated on December 13, 2009

In today's world it is not easy for most people to just find that place that you can sit back from all the turmoil that is going on and happening in ones life.  Some have even given up or forgot how they use to enjoy that especial time and place.

Oh sure, we all have bad days when nothing turns out right so what do you do?  Laying there on the couch feeling sorry for yourself---sure as hell didn't make that go away---tried that a few times too.

I believe that the best therapy is all around each an everyone of us.  Maybe we have just forgotten how to---STOP! and see what is maybe right outside your window or doing something simple that you haven't done for  a long time.  Okay, so say your out of work and can't afford to do some of those things.

Well here are a few things that I have done and they didn't cost me a cent and it made my day much brighter.

Gone Fish-in
Gone Fish-in

Okay, when was the last time you just went fishing?  It doesn't matter if it was in the ocean or a stream or lake and guess what?---it doesn't matter if you caught a fish.  The bait probably fell off the hook anyway.  The chill-in out is what is important and healthy for the body and mind.

Sometimes the fishing line doesn't even need to get wet, for there before you the beauty is all the chill-un we need.

My Best Friend
My Best Friend

You have the best of all worlds when you are just sitting there with your best friend.  Mine happen to have four-feet.  They never complain and feel sorry for them selfs.  They are always there to greet you with love and loyalty---just sitting there chill-un and not a word spoken!

At the end of the day of Chill-un there is only one thing left to do!

FOR TOMORROW YOU WILL FIND " WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES" when you let yourself just relax to all those wonderful things that you simply have in front of you.

Cris my man,as you stated "the simple things that we don't stop, look and listen to are right there in front of us" Yet some times it takes tragedy or heart break to make us stop and see it.

You folks there in the Philippines are a good example of this after that last typhoon---some people might look at those simple things around them with a different eye?

Feline thanks, I believe it is the simple things in life that are the most important.

You are right, you are always right! Sometimes we just forget that some of the simple things in life are the best things in life. Stop, look and listen - simple actions that should do the trick when you're stressed.

      I'm just a chill-un with the Moonglows! :D

That was a great hub! I love fishing and I have always thought it is a great way to just "chill" and let all the worries of life go away for awhile...Dogs are great bestfriends (my bestfriend as a child was my dog) and a hot cup of cocoa or a shot of brandy by the nice warm fire sounds good too! I love all your great examples.

So lovely! You are so good at connecting us with the beauties of life and even pointing to those feeling a bit strained of cash. Some of my most valuable memories are in the simple pleasures. You've painted very pleasing moments, images and the song is so soothing and romantic!Thank you!
