Recognizing God's Will
How do we recognize God's will for us. We know God want's us to be the best that we can be. He has a purpose/plan for all of us. "For I know the plans I have for you "declares the Lord", plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11.
God wants us to be an example to one another, God wants us to seek after the Truth, to put him first/above all else in our lives.
God wants us to grow spiritually therefore we will have trials. Things only develope under trial. Jesus says; "Pick up your cross and follow me".To know that whatever cross we carry, he will comfort us in the storm. God wants us to be perfect in every way, he wants us to be like him. God said he would never give us more than we could handle. While your serving God he will take care of your troubles. God is constantly working in our lives.
God gave me a most powerful revelation this morning. He said "When we lose hope, he is still at work". That is so comforting to know! You see...God does'nt give up, we do! Sometimes we don't recognize how God is working until we face a situation or circumstance. We just don't take notice of it. God is right there in the midst of all our troubles, all our fears. God is at work, maintaining, restoring and improving every aspect of our lives. Nothing is or will ever be impossible for God!
Jesus was sent to us in the flesh as the "word" of God. To tell us the truth so that we could find our way and be set free from worldly inflictions. Free from temptation and deception. Jesus said "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" John 8:32. Jesus gave us "the way" to being whole/complete to prepare us for the Kingdom of God. Jesus said " I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me" John 14:6. Jesus also says; And with all deceivableness of righteousness in them that perish, because they recieved not the love of the truth that they might be saved. 2nd Thessalonians 2:10.
God wants Great things for us!! "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him" Psalms 34:8.
We all have special gifts that God has provided us with. We can all do something that pleases God. Whether it be talking to someone about Jesus or singing his praise's. We all have purpose.
You might say, well I'm not so good at what i do, I need improvement. We all need improvement. God will improve us as we go. God is our Father therefore he is our teacher. Do you realize how important you are to God? God made each one of us in his image. He wants us to be like him. He made that possible.
When times get tough God says "I am your refuge in the storm" because he knows there will be storms in life. He is also our comforter, therfore he will comfort us. He wants to give us the answers to life's mysteries. "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" Jeremiah 29:13. God wants to instill in us all the knowledge and wisdom we will ever need.
God says; "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well" Matthew 6:33. God will provide everything we need according to his will. God will never leave you nor Forsake you. He will always be there. Who better to follow than God. Who better to go to in our times of need than God and who loves us no matter what....God.
