Learn French Software

Updated on March 21, 2010

More than any other country in the world you need to speak some of the local lingo when you visit France. Don't get me wrong France is one of my favourite countries in Europe, but you should see the difference when you approach a French local in English and then approaching the same local in French. If you talk to a French person in French no matter how badly you stuff it up they will love you for it. So learning French, even the basics will take you a long way in their country. One of the best ways I have found to learn French is through learn French software. There are a few things to look out for when assessing which learn French software is best for you.

Is the learn French software teaching you conversational French that will help you travel or will you be getting bogged down in parsing verbs (past, present, future, I am, you are, they are, we are).

Is the learn French software going to help you out if you are a beginner, intermediate or more advanced.

Is the learn French software coming with a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied or not getting the results that you desired (if you put the work in that is).

Travelling in France has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I wish this experience could be yours as well, but to make your time in France truly memorable then learning at least the basics in France is absolutely paramount - it will make the world of difference. To give you an example, I used to play with the French male ego a little. I would go into a bar and ask the bartender (if he was a man - women don't have the same base need to be competitive) in French do you have good wine... 'avez-vous du bon vin ?' to which the bartender would reply - of course we do. (If you want to insult a Frenchman then insult his country's capacity to produce decent wine. As always the best wine would be produced, sometimes for free, just to show the foreigner French wine is superb. So knowing some French open doors and opportunities.

I love the French language and didn't realize there was software available. Thank you for information and may now investigate re-learning my high school French. Merci!
