Lightning Strikes The Second Time Around

One In A Million

Could it happen to me ?

When out of the blue a lightning bolt strikes

Not once but twice

The same person

At different times in their life

Is no place safe

No time to run and hide

What are the chances of being nocked to the ground

Surviving a twist of fate

 It has happened for some bizarre unexplained reason 

All life wiped out in an instant

We become powerless and lifeless

Lame and limp in a flash

Natures victim or was I the chosen one

Stranger than fiction

I have been picked out

Hand selected

Found through the eye of a needle

Pushed off the edge of life

Where all my limitations have been reached

Coming back from a world that is hidden

Walking in the shadows of a future that doesn't exsist

Touched by the angels of heaven

Brushed by death and lived to tell about it

      Dream On. Hi. What a wonderful Poem. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

      Lightning is beautiful and frightening at the same time, but I would not wish to be out in it.

      To be struck twice and survive,you would have to be the luckiest person alive.

      Unfortunately it can and does happen to some folks more than once. :) :)
