Love those He has placed in your lives, especially those who are hard to love!
Have compassion for others!
Seek that inner peace that only comes from knowing Jesus intimately!
Stay away from those who attempt to prevent you from being all that God intends you to be in His eyes!
Try to make a human connection with people you meet!
When people are talking to you, listen intently and truly care about what they are saying to you!
Smile!
Laugh at yourself a lot!
Enjoy a rainbow!
Dance in the rain!
Ask people to forgive you, even if it is they who should be asking you for forgiveness!
Truly forgive people in your heart!
Really take time to actually smell a rose!
Say an encouraging word to someone!
Pray continually!
Hug someone!
Give generously of yourself and your time, and be happy about it!
Give yourself a break – do not be so hard on yourself – we are all just human!
Do not sweat the little stuff!
Put on your favorite music when its time to clean your house and sing and dance while cleaning. Better yet, just put off cleaning for a day or two and visit your best friend for coffee or whatever!
Be faithful!
Pick your battles carefully!
Do things that make an eternal impact!
Really and truly do unto others, as you would have them do unto you – the Golden Rule!
Think on those things that are lovely!
Visit someone in prison and tell them of the Good News!
Give someone who is thirsty a drink of water!
Give someone who is hungry some food!
Be caring!
Think on those things that are excellent!
Give someone needing clothes, clothing!
Think on those things that are right!
Be in self-control!
Love on and pray for those who are hurting!
Tell someone (who you believe does not know) that God loves them and you do too!
Think on those things that are pure!
Cry with those who are brokenhearted!
Serve others and be blessed!
Love unconditionally!
Enjoy your pets and give them that same unconditional love they give you!
Tell those in your lives you love them often!
Think on those things that are true!
Be spontaneous!
Be patient with others, remembering God created each one of us very uniquely!
Enjoy the uniqueness of each other!
Use whatever God-given gifts you have to bless others and to glorify Him!
Be at peace with yourself and others!
Think on anything worthy of praise!
Enjoy each others’ differences and respect another’s point of view!
Stare in wonderment of the starry night! Before Van Gogh painted it, God designed it!
Visit a sick friend!
Think on those things that are honest!
Make a meal for someone who is recovering from an illness or surgery!
Take a meal to someone you know will not get one otherwise!
Be gentle!
Enjoy the simple pleasures in life!
Make amends with anyone in your lives!
Thank the Lord for what He has blessed you with, as it is more than enough already!!!
Think on those things that are of good report!
Sing along with the radio while driving!
Talk to God all during the day!
Have a grateful heart!
Jump in the car and go on a road trip!
Have compassion for others!
Be slow to anger!
Love yourself!
Be joyful!
Enjoy and appreciate the beauty around you – all of His creation, the birds, the trees, the animals, the plants, the mountains, the sea air, the sandy beaches, the flowing rivers, the beautiful blue oceans, the green pastures, the butterflies, the sunshine and the rain!
And finally, the most important thing – love God above all things and then love all others as you love yourself!!!
These are just a few of life’s simple pleasures, and I am sure you can come up with plenty of others.
