One Day To Live

Updated on April 18, 2010

Make Everything Count

Why is it we all think we are going to live forever?

I think we do not want to face that last day of are lives

What we will be thinking and how do we say goodbye to all are loved ones

Looking over our accomplishments and failures

Understanding the truth that there is no time left for change

We have lived our life and now we are moving  on to the unknown

There is no one to guide us and hold are hand

We think of the people we have met and enjoyed sharing the things we loved

What changes we could of made that would of prolonged this day

All and all making peace with ourselves and who we are

Seeing the changes in are own body over time that we have not noticed till now

Sending are love to the ones who  we leave behind

Reminding  them to savor life all they can

It is magnificient and is meant to be shared in every experience we encounter

One mystery after another

Are eyes closing for the final time while we wait for the next surpise

carterchas I love that idea.So both our clocks have stopped and our time is up.But we are still here.Like we are in overtime or extra minutes. The bonus round has begun. We had our whole life to live and it is over now.But is it really. So each second is more precious and more exciting than ever.Congratulations you have done it.You have managed to live two lives in one.Enjoy your new second life.Make everything count.Thanx so much and have a great day.

Sometimes I think we might be better off having a clock that told us how much time we have left.

Bravo my friend, you are right on, on this awesome hub. Why do people pretend this is not part of life, we are born like a beauty rose, and we weather away in vain. Now, we have three stages in my point of view, we are awake, we dream and we die. So why can't we not talk about this, why is it so forbidden? Thanks you for this great hub...
