Who We Are?

Updated on July 8, 2009

What Do you Think Of Yourself?

What do we think of ourselves? A superman or an ordinary man? We think ourselves something but the people think of us differently. We (ourselves) may be very powerful, but other people think of us as weak. We (ourselves) may be very week but other people may think of us very powerful.

We may be powerful or weak in actual fact whatever may be other people think of us. But these are all temporary phenomena. If we are powerful today we would be weak tomorrow. If we are weak today we would be powerful tomorrow.

A king or a president, may think of himself as very powerful, today. But that will not last long and is not permanent if he misuses his power and authority. look at Saddam Husain, the president of Iraq and look at the king of Nepal.

Fall of a president and/or fall of a king depend on how he thinks himself and how he behaves. If ‘you' feel you are powerful, do not do 'illegal' things. Do not go beyond limit. Do not go out of boundary. Do not break rules. Do not break heart of others. If you do wrong and break rules you will definitely fall down like Saddam Hussein of Iraq and King of Nepal. Do not make any irresponsible decision, do not behave unprofessional way. Do not underestimate an ordinary man. An ordinary man may come across in your life in the form of a god. If you insult him being an ordinary man, god will punish you. That an ordinary man will curse you. You can not recover your loss due to your irresponsible decision that caused loss to an ordinary man.

Here I am addressing 'you' not to those who have not done anything wrong. I am addressing 'you' to those who have done irresponsible decision because of which some one is suffering.

i guess life is a cycle. it's a like a wheel, once you're on top, another time you're below. therefore, it is best to keep a level head.

Thank you Binkskee, Yes life is full of ups and down. But one has to know how to behave within humanity. Some go beyond humanity and behave like animals.

Thank you James. Every one is important, we should not think any one as 'low level'.

It's a nice hub, but its fact that prevails in the world now, instead of understanding who we are - we are always more interested in knowing who others are? which inturn leads a lot of misconception on us leading to a lot of faulty steps.

Thank you. Today I feel weak. I also know that people in positions of power may use their power for good or not so good. Thank you for this post.
