Recycled Error
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
In the beginning, God did not give Adam any religion, but a Relationship, and a Work to in the Garden. It will interest you that Adam, the first man did not fail at his work, but failed at his relationship with God.
When you doubt and attack the love of God, God's truth will be the next casualty. This was what eventually sent Adam and Eve out of their home, the abode of God, the Garden of Eden.
Since that time, man has been craving for Paradise, a return to Eden kind of experience. Unfortunately, the more man works, the less time he has for God.
So man came up with a plan that will make them feel Paradise while they are far away from God - working.
Man came up with R E L I G I O N a good substitute for RELATIONSHIP
Time and space will not permit me, but to think that Religion will replace Relationship is nothing but an ERROR
God shocked Jeremiah the Prophet, when He told him the He did not ask Israel to sacrifice anything to Him!
Hear God Speaks:
'For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:' - Jeremiah 7:22
From the time Adam left the Garden of Eden, man has been longing to get back to that Paradise of a Garden, but it was not possible because of the FLAMING SWORD that secured the Garden.
For anyone to pass through the FLAMING SWORD is death, and man does not want to die any death - so he will look for other alternative which is mere Religion.
Long story cut short, God then decided to come down to man at last, BUT the same fear of death rear its ugly head up again.
Hear what they say:
'And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.' - Exodus 20:18/19
From this verses, Man DECIDED to CHOOSE a man to speak to them on behalf of God, and not God Himself directly - This is the ERROR!
The death they were so much afraid of is not medical death, but death to Self.
The Flamming Sword will not kill man, but slain his spirit
Holiness will not kill anyone, but will only makes man be like God.
However, Man does not like any of these, so he chose a man to 'act' God for him.
As it was in those Bible days, so it is today. A man will play the role of God over another fellow. David Koresh of WACO (Texas) led his followers to death, because they had him play God over them.
Another Pastor which they referred to as 'his holiness' set some of his blind members ablaze all in the name of religion - this happened in Lagos (Nigeria).
There is this one that was jailed in London (U.K) for having sex with little boys at his church - all in the name of religion.
The media all together brought all these stories out to the Public, the Judges jailed many of these man - made gods, and yet we still see many people blindly following man of God to any length, but will not walk with God an inch - Pathetic!
Even as I am writing this article, I can see this same ERROR being RECYCLED among our religious folks
For those who have a listening ears, hear me out and that clearly too:
If any man of God places himself above the Bible, then he is an Antichrist - depart from him.
If any man of God preaches more about himself and not about Jesus Christ, then he is an Antichrist - he himself is not born again, leave his tent.
If any man of God is more concern about projects than winning souls, he is like Nimrod making a name for himself, he is an Antichrist - run away from him quickly, otherwise you will think you are working for God while you are foolishly helping him to build his kingdom here on Earth. And there will not be a reward for such your work at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
With gentleness and with the Spirit of humility, with love and truth, let us tell others about this RECYCLED ERROR and break its cycle to the glory of God.
Preparing the Bride,
