Studios are available in San Diego where you can borrow a violin to first see if it fits your idea of what you need, where you can purchase a violin, take lessons, and once you have learned to play the instrument, you can learn the recording aspect of music composition to create something new and exciting. Taking lessons is just one aspect of the music education. This description of four facilities located in the San Diego area may give you the information you are searching for. Created out of a desire to fill a void in the community, BVAA offers new classes each semester based upon student demand and instructor availability. Instruction is available in the following string instruments, violin, viola, cello and bass. Classes take place on the BVAA campus on Tuesdays evenings, using a 60 minute session.
The String Orchestra classes are set at three levels, beginner, intermediate and advance. They provide a way to start learning the techniques of the string instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass) in a group setting where each student learns the techniques of classical music, reading music, rhythms and music theory. Advanced students learn the techniques of the string instruments in a group setting and continue to learn the techniques of classical music, reading music, rhythms and music theory.
