Snow Flurries...

Updated on January 20, 2016

Typical North Carolina weather...It's definitely a little bit cold, okay for us, a lot cold, with temperatures starting to drop into the 20s.....

And, earlier today, I am sure folks were running to the store, stocking up on Bread, Milk, Water, and other supplies as they prepare for the Winter weather...Of course, we have already had a few light dustings this Winter and that's all I expect with this one.

Now, the weekend, all bets are off as they are talking much worse weather for that one. So far, the schools are not panicking though they did call off After School activities earlier today...

As I was telling someone earlier today, I remember back in the Ice Ages of the 70's being a grade school kid, and loving getting out of school for snow..But, I also remember some times where I went to sleep after having waited for them to to get to the W's (Warren County) and finding out whether I was going to have school or not....After learning no school, taking a brief nap, sometimes less than a hour or two, and waking up to Nothing...literally nothing...not even a drop...whatever had fallen, had melted......

But, this time, they are calling for a nice snow storm...over the weekend..Only time will tell...Should be interesting.

They are saying a wintry mix, and that means Ice, and me and Ice are not friends as I have taken some falls, so I hope they are wrong..But, I will be prepared either way....

It has been cold in OK with the windchill, but as far as precip, it is rare. It appears that with the El Nino, that it will be a wetter winter. Nice pics.

Hi Marc, I love your pictures. They are not sure what we are getting here in NE PA yet. We have to wait and see. We don't need the weather men for that. lol I have videos of snow falls from last year on my phone. I keep them because they are so pretty.

      Blessings to you.
