Stuck In A Place I Don't Want To be

Updated on August 15, 2010

All Things Happen For A Reason

I am still under the weather but not to worry I brought my umbrella

I will not let this feeling of discomfort get me down

I will be happy no matter what

I will raise my smile like our American flag high in the sky for everyone to see

I will display it proudly as if it was a badge of honor pinned on my chest

I will have little set backs were I know this problem isn't gone

That is when I regroup my army and find another way to attack the enemy

Surrendering is never an option

I look for advice from others who have been where I am now

Their own experience can guide me

Their tips can lead me to safety

Like a ship on a foggy night guided safely back to port

I will use all my resources to help me in my treatment

I will use ingenuity

Even though I can't find it in the dictionary and I don't know how to spell it properly

I am on a mission

Like Mission Impossible for those who can remember that old t.v. program

I will gain strength and momentum with each hour that passes

I will kick the butt off this one

In time but for now I have to just chew and swollow

Taking baby steps even when I fall again and again

I pride myself on my continual self motivation

To handle the little obstacles and then the big ones that follow

It is amazing how much difference a day makes

Since I wouldn't of given this any thought

When I was healthy and eating freely at will

I am learning a new lesson

I feel like I have barnacles in my throat

I want to put them back in the ocean and that is no joke

i have caught your illness. I am flying over to England, to spend some time with my son, and his family, and i was supposed to see my dad, but he is on oxygen for 12 hours a day, and cannot come into contact with anyone with coughs, colds etc..... so i will have to see him next time..... it is stress that brings this on, so hope now i do not have to go to work, i will be less stressed and feel well, and not worry at all about money, i have everyting i need, and friends at my fingertips,. i just learned that ciao, says chow..... silly me, i learn something every day.
