Application requirements for International Students
Applicants intending to study in Romania must provide the following documents:
- Completed Application form
- Certified Copy of High School Certificate for Undergraduate Studies.
- Certified Copy of Diploma for Postgraduate Studies
- Academic record for Transfer Students.
- Certified Copy of Birth Certificate.
- Certified Copy of Passport
- 4 passport photos.
The Copies of the documents must be coloured and clear. The documents must be certified by a notary.
The process of admission is between 4 - 6 weeks. The deadline for Application each year is July 31st.
Note: Transfer students must submit an academic record with their grades transcribed to the European Credit Transfer System. On arrival they must submit a curriculum for registration.
Cost of Living for International Students
Cost of Living is dependent on the life style of the student.
Feeding: Students may buy food from shopping mall, restaurants or fast food stops around the city
Transportation: Transportation in Romania is via Metro,taxis or Buses
Accommodation: Students are granted the option of obtaining accommodation in a hostel or apartments.
The Hostels rooms are made for two students or four students. Students in the Hostel do not pay electricity, water bills, heating bills. They are included in the Hostel fee.
Students can live in apartments in the city. The apartments are fully furnished with a Kitchen, Toilet and bathroom. There are one, two, three and four bedroom apartments. Students might decide to share apartments to reduce their cost of living. The rent for the Apartment is dependent on the quality of the apartment. Here are the prices for
- one bedroom apartment + Kitchen + Toilet and bathroom - 150 - 200 Euro.
- Two bedroom apartment + Kitchen + Toilet and bathroom - 200 - 250 Euro.
- Three bedroom apartment + Kitchen + Toilet and bathroom - 250 - 350 Euro.
Some apartments might have more than one Toilet and Bathroom. Students have to pay Electricity bill (maximum for a month - 20 Euro), Water Bills (maximum for a month - 20 Euro), Heating Bills {maximum for a month (only during winter : November - February) - 30 Euro).
Tuition Fees for International Students in Romania
MEDICINE: 5000 Euro except University of Constanta - 4200 Euro, Univ. of Arad - 3200 Euro.
ENGINEERING: 2700 Euro for Undergraduate and 2900 Euro for Postgraduate.
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION: 2700 Euro for Undergraduate, except University of Transylvania - 1980 Euro and 2900 Euro for Postgraduate.
ECONOMICS: 2200 Euro for Undergraduate and 2400 for Postgraduate
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: 2200 Euro for Undergraduate and 2400 for Postgraduate
