Talking Cats

Talking Cat

Can cats talk? Here is a collection of some funny videos of talking cats.

If you have a cat, you already know that your little kitty can communicate with you, and you probably have learned to speak a little "catese" yourself. When your cat meows, you can tell if it is hungry, bored, upset, indifferent, curious, happy, or annoyed.

But what if you cat learned to speak human? Most cats can't be bothered to speak English or any other human language. After all, they are the superior species, so why should they lower themselves to uttering such undignified sounds? But a few cats, perhaps fearless cat anthropologists interested in immersing themselves in the life and culture of these strange two-legged animals, have condescended to learn a few words of human speech.

Talking Cats

Talking cats say "Hello", "I Love You" and more!

Talking Cat Says Hello

This little cat likes to say "Hello" a lot. Cute but I think it would get on my nerves after a while.

Talking Cat at the Vet

Poor little kitty doesn't want to go to the vet. And it tells you so.

Talking Cat Says No

This is so funny and cute. The cat sounds like it is really saying no to its owner. Very cool talking cat.

Talking Cat With Identity Issues

Not sure if this qualifies as a talking cat, but it sure sounds like it is imitating a sheep and a cow.

This is my cat named Kitty helping me pack for a trip. He does not talk and rarely listens, but he is a loveable little monkey.

My cat gets really annoyed if I play any youtube videos of other cats. He thinks I have brought in another cat to take his place.

LOL............. If cats could really talk I am sure they would tell half of their owners exactly where to go...

Very funny! I suppose that if I went to a doctor's office and found other people there communicating by "meowing" to each other I might run away too! Your stray will soon understand your love and care though. :)

@RTalloni - thanks for the feedback. I recently took in a stray cat and I am trying to get it to talk but with no success. The funny thing is that when I show it the youtube videos of talking cats, it runs away in horror. But when I show it videos of cats talking normally in cat language it is very interested and tries to find out where the cat is "hiding" by looking behind the speakers.

My friend says that our daughter's cat calls me by name, copying the way my husband says it.

The vids are hysterical! Neat topic you chose! :)

aww the poor kitty going to the vets. He sounds just like my cat Oscar, except he lets everyone know from the minute he gets in the car, and in the waiting room. All the pets around him are well-behaved, but Oscar has to protest -- big time.
