End Of The World Ten Scenarios

Updated on December 2, 2012

Scenarios believed to end the world.

Ten of the more realistic and, frightening. predictions that could destroy the planet. Our NASA Scientists pretty much know how the World will end . These are at least 10 ways that seem to be most probable to wipe out the human race as we know it.

1. ECOSYSTEM COLLAPSES

Biologists agree that our eco-system is extremely fragile. If man continues to destroy the earth with pollution a chain of events will occur an d systematically a tipping point will happen. We now are polluting the oceans and all food chains. This is where oxygen is made. If we destroy it there will be no air for us to breathe. With each loss creates another and so on, till all living things cease to exist. This scenario has the planet survive and actually regenerate after we are all gone. We can help to change this scenario if we choose to.

2. METEOR IMPACT

This scenario many people already know. Scientist say that a meteor large enough it will create an explosion that would generate so much heat it would burn away our atmosphere and turn the earths surface into molten rock and lava. That impact would cause such earthquakes beyond any measure we know of today. The government has set up a program for warning of such a threat called Pan-STARRS our rapid response system. Not that this is going to help save us but it does limit the anticipation of the end.

3. SUPER VOLCANO

Super Volcano’s are they real? Yes very real and have been over looked for some time as scientists are fairly new with volcanology . A super volcano doesn't look like your average small volcano because the eruptions are so large that they actually fall back into themselves making them easy to overlook. Scientists believe we are already well over due for one to erupt. If the blast doesn't get you the volcanic winter form one will.

4. NUCLEAR WAR

Everyone knows this one is our own. We made these to destroy mankind and there are a lot of them. We know of approximately 20,000 nuclear warheads that nine countries admit to having. This does not account for the countries that may have them and are unwilling to divulge this information. In the event of a nuclear war the Thermo nuclear blasts would be so large that it would destroy almost everyone on the surface of the earth. For those who seek shelter underground will have the task of dealing with poisoned rain and radiation. After about 6 to 12 months the starvation and disease would wipe out most of mankind and most of the food chain. Bad part about this scenario is that we already have the capability to use weapons of mass destruction.

5. BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS

bio-weapons specialists have been experimenting for years with super strains of deadly viruses to perfect them such as Anthrax, Ebola, Smallpox and the Bubonic Plague. These new diseases may well be 100% effective. Even those that have been vaccinated may not survive these new strains being manufactured. This is a very real and terrifying threat to the survival of mankind. Another scenario where mankind ends at his own hands.

6. UNKNOWN WEAPONS

The Arms-Race is very much alive and well. We have billions of dollars going to research for new weapons that work better and are more powerful than anything we have or have had in the past. So anything is possible and any type of thing you could imagine. like ray guns or microwave a country could be possible in years to come who knows Star trek may be a reality soon with tele-porters and gravitation tractor beams.

7. ENERGY EXPERIMENT GOES WRONG

As scientists study sub-atomic energy there is a huge concern that something could go very wrong and the effects could be extremely catastrophic. Most people feel the research of intense particle collisions just isn't worth the risk. But we do have the technology somewhere underground in Switzerland near Geneva to do just that. This scenario is just scary.

8. NEW ICE AGE

Right now we are in what is called an interglacial period – the warm time in between the much longer and colder ones. If the record of ice ages is accurate and consistent then it’s due to get very much colder in the next few thousand years. With the aid of modern technology mankind could survive. But with mankind heating the earth way to fast it could trigger a rapid cooling effect. If the polar caps melt to fast causing the polar oceans currents change. It is believed if this happens the ice age that would follow would be far colder than we have ever seen and would destroy civilization throughout the Northern hemisphere. With that much ice covering the earth it would reflect more and more sunlight allowing the planet to grow colder and colder as each year passed finally freezing everything and everyone. In this scenario Earth becomes the largest snowball in the guinis book of world records.

9. DARK ENERGY

The existence of “Missing Gravity” has been confirmed and “Dark Matter / Dark Energy” is now a very accepted scientific concept. This could be one of the most dangerous concepts for the planet. Anyone and anything that relies on electricity is affected even your brain. That’s right your brain works on a very similar circuitry as all electrical components. With a dark energy cloud anything electrical inside the cloud would fail. Scientist believe a whole solar system could be engulfed and everything dependent on electricity would fail to function and dissipate in the cloud. In this scenario it makes me wonder if there isn’t a dark energy cloud around every fast food restaurant and grocery checkout engulfing the clerks brains and rendering them absolutely useless

10. OVER POPULATION

Well here is one that’s in motion. We consume everything in vast amounts and our population is getting larger by the minute. As we grow and our resources deplete we will have nothing left to consume and we will die. With nothing left to consume our purpose for life will end. This scenario is not if but when is the end.
