The Diary of the Other Woman( The Mistress)

Updated on October 19, 2011

It's two a.m in the morning,

The rolling sounds of the thunder roll;

Flashing lights of the lighten, flashes on the window pane,

pit a pat, pit a pat, pit a pater,

There goes the rain,

You are alone, once again,

You tossed and turn, in your Queen size bed,

a feeling came over you,

And you started to feel the "Blues"

Your thoughts began to focus on him

When will this end?"

They are two worlds not alike,

One yours and mine,

They are two hearts

One yours one mine,

"Why can't we be together

That song lingered in my ear

He wasn't there.

Why are you fooling yourself?

His generosity, his gifts his trips

His money, all those material things,

Don't seem important to you,

Even the expensive diamond ring,

When you can't have him in bed with you.

What the use of pretending to have a man,

Someone else's man,

A forbidden Love,

A Love like this, might work for others

But not for you.

A Love like this, will one day hurt you

He is at home with his wife,

And family, you are here alone and feeling blue

And staring at the phone, feeling lonely and confused,

Wondering and asking yourself, why YOU?"

Deep empty hole, waiting to be filled,

Wouldn't it be better to find a man of your own.

wouldn't be better to hold on to something warm

during the thunder storm?"

Wouldn't it be better to hear the sound of his breathing

...........................next to you>

Then why don't you?"

Dear Diary:

I have to evaluated myself, explored my options

Have to find that special someone, who will love me and only me,

Tired of being alone,

Tired of listen to the rain, on my window pane

Tired of the maybe . tired of the tomorrows,

or could be Friday.

This kind of lifestyle, maybe good .

But its a lonely life in this neighborhood,

it might be good for some,

I know it's not good for you'

Nothing prosperous nothing gain,

Have to stop this unfaithful game,

You are in love with a married man,

Many are call but few is chosen

Why was l choosen

Why did l choose him,

This have to end.

Dear Diary:

Last month l try to break it off;

Seeing his face,

Excepting his generosity, his male magnetism

Bewitched me, to a degree that l was lost in all form of thinking rational,

or on a intelligent level.

So I let him rebound back to infidelity;

Do you love him,

or do you love what he can do for you?"

Is this how you want your life to be?"

Second guessing your feelings,

Feeling lost, knowing at some points in life,

He might go back to his wife,

Dear Diary:

Am l in the Forest of Confusion?"

Getting off course, without a sense direction,

A direction of long lonely nights lonely path,

I want to go right, with you!"

I am tired of turning left,

I want our love to make a u-turn in one direction.

Not like a dead end street,

He is always in a hurry,

Even when he leaves on time,

Trying to divided his love, and attention,

His conscience, is taking a toll on his face,

Line of disgrace>

Dear Diary:

Perhaps some of my poems will strike a chord within you. I'm no poet, just an ordinary woman who writes simple lines dancing forth from my heart, weaving my observations, imaginations and experiences about love into word

some might like them and some might not... (just a quote)(:)

Brilliant, I loved this. Why do so many women become mistresses, thinking that things will change. Surely better to find an unattached male, rather than trying to destroy a marriage. This reminds me of my poem 'Her Lost Love'. Great work, I could so feel the emotion in your words. Voting up and pressing your buttons too.

I can feel the pain in this persons heart by reading these lines. It is important to see that it is not just fun and games for the person on the other end of your pain.
