A Flight of Radiant Colors

I love to lie in the grass and gaze up in the sky. The perspective of looking up into the Universe during the daylight brings so many of nature’s gifts into focus. One of these gifts in particular lately that has been playing with my eye sight, it is the dragonfly!

A symbol of sense of self with a spirit that can sustain change as it flutters about without effort upwards into a breeze the dragonfly’s wings are colorful masterpieces of God’s creation that mesmerize me as I get lost in their iridescent flutters. Their delicate wings remind me how magic is real, and I am free to dream as I gaze up into the sky watching them dance within their circle of flight.

There is a connection of touch without physical presence that sends my heart soaring into the sky with them as my eyes dance through the air following their pattern of flight. How I smile at their grace and brief encounters with each other. Their love of life that allows them to flutter about enriching their short life spans with many life experiences with the little they possess.

I see a translucent glow emitting from their wings as they flutter, perhaps auras of lives well lived amongst us. A reflection of gifts reaped through a life time of flight from the loving hands of a Universe unknown to man the dragonfly continues to remind me that I must remain strong with joy in my heart through periods of adversity.

I sense I am blessed as I watch their journeys taking flight above my being as a feeling of wisdom embraces me as I realize once again how fragile life really is. We are all born of beauty into a world of uncertainties with life lessons defining the spirit of our souls. How we reap the gifts of these life lessons from the Universe perhaps creates the auras of our beings depicting lives well lived much like the dragonfly’s glow.

A thought to consider would be a rainbow of iridescent colors emitting radiant beams of love from the inside of our souls outwards beautifying the world as we dance along our journeys. Can you imagine how spectacular that would be? A population of humans journeying through loving touch, dancing and playing together to a common theme of trying to enjoy every moment of life with what they have been given, not wanting for more.

Ah to dream, to believe in magic, to slow down for a moment to see their iridescent glow…how I love dragonflies and how they enrich my soul!
