The Hand of Death- A look at the top 5 most devastating weapons of war.

Since the dawn of time and the world in which we know it, human beings have strived for personal excellence. We are a very competitive race and are always trying to deem ourselves as the supreme beings of the universe. Clouded in our interpretations of what really makes the world go round, we the people have learned to start our civilizations with the same common recipe for survival, defend our homeland and protect our families at any cost. In theory it seems quite noble, I mean no one wants anything bad to happen to the ones we love, and we are all to smart to succeed to the notion of global harmony, for there will always be crime and there will always be evil.

Some would argue "that is just the way of the world", and it very well may never change, So I'm not here to splash around allot of love thy neighbor reddorick or save the whales, I’m not going to get entirely that deep today. This is a small fluff piece on the five most absolutely ground breaking weapons that not only shifted the way I see humanity, but also dazzled me in what we as human beings can imagine and design for the purposes of destroying each other.

I did allot of research and studied over thousands of weapons of war fought in just about every battle from medieval times to current day. Compiling them to a mere five was very difficult, but you have to have your standards. So rest assured your getting the five fingers of the Devil here. Five weapons made from the depths of hell, fashioned by the hands and minds of the purest of evil. So without any more build-up, I give you my top five grizzliest weapons of mankind.

Endulge in Amazing Evil

#5- The AA-12 Automatic Shotgun

In my opinion the wildest and most devastating hand held weapon ever conceived. The AA-12 (auto-assault) is truly a dazzling piece of firepower. Ever since I was a kid I’ve thought of the shotgun as the grand daddy of intimidators and always has been. The thunderous boom and wicked splatter of the victims made it a horrific staple of weaponry. The AA-12 goes way past the realms of reality and dips into the state of "You gotta be kidding me!"

Simply put it’s a machine gun that shoots shotgun rounds. Maybe it sounds simple and not that spectacular but before you dismiss this you must see it in action! It’s a total spaghetti maker! With roughly the same weight and comfort ability of a normal shotgun, this bad boy comes with a 32 round drum that can crank out 5 shells per second! Have you ever seen what that can do? If not, I absolutely recommend looking up this weapon on YouTube immediately. Its extremely shocking and frightening.......but in a good way.

#4- Hydrogen Cyanide Gas- (Zyklon B)

There are 6,000,000 reasons why this made it on the list of the worst weapons of mankind. Created as a pesticide for crops it was turned into the most evil tool of mass destruction in our planets history. As a weapon it ranks number four but as a symbol of evil, it tops our list. Hydrogen cyanide, when inhaled by human beings stops blood cells from producing oxygen thus promoting respiratory failure and bleeding from the ears and mouth and eventually violent convulsions, ending with death. How Nazi Germany came up with this one baffles all normal thinking human beings. This gas came in canisters of small pellets that would be dumped into 2 chambers, one holding 800 and the other confining 1200 innocent prisoners. The pellets would fall down the shafts and explode into gas inside, subjecting all to the worst death imaginable. 2000 would die in roughly 15 minutes, victims would be found slumped against each other, pinked skin and green spotted...sometimes holding one another. The cruel and inhumane acts that happened at Auschwitz-Birkenau during WWII go down as the closest we as a race have come to hell on earth, and I pray that no living thing ever be subjected to anything like this ever again.

Check this out...

#3- SAAB Bofors RBS-70

Thanks to the RBS-70 shoulder launched missile system, I no longer will be getting anymore sleep at night. This is not only the biggest technological breakthrough in military weapons but in my opinion the coolest and scariest weapon to come out in the past ten years. Simply, the RBS-70 is a shoulder mounted laser guided missile that can blow up just about anything within a 5 mile radius of whoever is carrying it. Can you imagine blowing up a plane all by yourself, well now it’s possible. It’s a 3 piece system that consists of a radar unit, a shoulder launch pad with a visual tracking screen, and of course...the missile. Carried by 3 men it is extremely mobile and takes only minutes to set up. Then its fun time, the RBS-70 can then hit any target within a range of 5 miles with a height range of 15,000 ft. O...my...god.

This is a lock as the #3 weapon because it is not only a dazzling weapon with all kinds of tech advances, but it is also THE blue-chip terror weapon on Osama’s Christmas list. If this baby were ever to sneak its way into the US and found itself on top of a building of a major city...."F'getaboutit".

See it to believe it.

#2- Metal Storm 40MM UGV

The Metal Storm is a weapon from another planet, seriously. This is one of those weapons that you can read about and see it in action with your own eyes and still not believe it exits. It’s a computer operated supergun that has the unique capability of firing 1 million 40MM rounds per minute or roughly 16,500 per second. I'll say it again...16,500 a second! It’s an absolutely ridiculous amount of firepower that is almost unbelievable until you see it! With the capability of chiseling a mountain in half or liquefying a human being with the snap of a finger it undoubtedly deserves the #2 spot here for obvious reasons. The super box is a cubed shaped rounds holder that resembles a fourth of July finale core. It sits on top of a tripod controlled by only what seems to be a laptop computer...simply press enter and you have instant oblivion.

#1 The Trident Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarine

Why is this Big Bad Daddy the #1 weapon of all time? Because this is the only weapon that can actually single handedly destroy all of mankind.........

Born during the cold war, this mobile nuclear missile silo has been trolling the oceans of the world for over twenty years just waiting for the dreaded doomsday scenario. Technically it can’t blow up the entire world, but it does house enough firepower to successfully destroy all of Europe. With a small crew of only 170 men (no women), 154 cruise missiles and 24 atomic warheads it is officially the angel of death and unarguably top dog on this list. Never before or after has a weapon been constructed with so much power over the human race. It can stay submerged for up to 3 months at a time and is virtually undetectable to sonar.

It’s a scary notion to entertain it crashing into something even though its hull can withstand pretty much anything. There is no doubt that it’s an exclamation point to military weaponry and the ultimate package as the world’s peacekeeper.
