The Power of Experience: exploring the ability to create
The Power of Experience: exploring the ability to create

What do you want to create?

"Men do not attract that which they want but that which they are."

- James Allen

What is your present experience in your life or work? Your present experience is your reality. Where you are in the present moment (NOW): is you experience, result or outcome in life. It sounds so simple but it is true. Your thought patters, feelings (attitude) and actions have all results to your present reality or experience.

In the past when I here the above statements about the effect of our thinking on the result we get from life, I usually don't pay attention with great deal to it. But let's face it you are the product of your thought. Thought is a powerful thing. It can result to positive or negative outcome. You are a thinking being and all day long you are involved in this very important activity; and that is - think! Well what will it feel like to master this activity that provides you with all of life's goodies.

We have the abilities to think and also the intelligence to navigate the different obstacle or challenges that life throws at us. We are also intelligent beings. This ability enables us to adopt and adapt to new patterns of experiences and figure out how to surmount them. In this article, I've been mentioning the word experience. What then is this word "experience."

Experience means different thing to people. How do I describe experience and where does id come from? There is this formulae attributed to Tony Robbins, and it goes this way:

LC = BP

LC stands for Live Condition and BP means Blue Print

At present your living condition is your present circumstance or experience. And if you want to change your experience LC you have to change your BP.

I'll in a moment go on tom describe how to change your living condition and therefore yoyur blue print so as to change your experience. But before then, I want to elaborate on some of the point I've highlighted.

What is thinking and intelligence?

What is experience?

How can I change my experience and therefore my life's blueprint?

What is thinking and intelligence?

You might have your own definitions of thinking or intelligence. But this definition that I'm going to use here will definitely challenge your thinking.

According to Edward de Bono "Thinking is an operational skill"; and" Intelligence is a potential."

He wrote that thinking is an operating skill through which intelligence acts on experience.

You can see from this definition that there is a link between thinking, intelligence and experience.

What experience do you have in the person you want to become? What you are able to do and abundance you have from life and work. These results or outcome or experiences could be in form of intangible or tangible accomplishments. You need to understand that life is not static but rather in a continuous state of flux or change. We need to learn and grow and expand our means as to who we are, what we do and what we have.

Earl Prevette noted that: "Intelligence is the capacity and ability to size up your self and size up your environment and to organised them into a workable plan that you may share of life's abundance."

You can see from that definition that in that definition there is the word ability. But what then is this ability? Ability is the positive thoughts on the job to deliver to you the things you desire."

What is experience?

Experience is the knowledge, wisdom and skills we gained through a wise use of time.

Most of the time we acquire experience through learning outcomes. L:earning as you might know is about your brain being physically sculptured by experience. It is about brain cells forming new connections because of the stimulation they receive from the outside world. We need to develop the habit of attention if we're to learn from the experiences of life. This is the power of experience to apply it to new situations.

How can I change my experience and therefore my life's blueprint?

If there is one thing I want you to remember; it is this:

"By thought the things you want is brought to you by actions you receive them. "

Remember the experience (s), that you desire to change are there until NOW. Therefore, you need to realize that you need top change whatsoever you desire to be, to do and to have so as to make your experience a reality.

We can change who (identity), what (behavior) and where (environment), we are in our lives simply by changing how (strategy), and what we think about on consistent basis.

You are where and who you are right NOW as the sum total of all your thought to this point in your life, But you've got to note that it's up to this point.

"Your level of success and achievement in any area of life is a direct proportion to your ability and willingness to direct your thoughts into effective planning and organised action towards a specific goal combined with strong reason WHY you're doing it in the first place."

- Jim Edward
