The Well of Knowledge
Come to the well
In troubled times, when all seems lost,
and it seems, no place else to go,
In God's garden, stands His well,
and our knowledge, there to grow.
Drink of its waters, with your own eyes,
words read to quench your thirst,
Love and happiness, then we'll find,
and our reason to go there first.
The well of Knowledge, is there for us all,
so placed by our God's own hand,
To satisfy the hungers so great,
and convey to all, His own simple plan.
We find bread of life and wine as blood,
of His son, that He did sacrifice,
We all shall be saved, and be born again,
by His gift of love, now twice.
The waters of the living well. spring forth,
from the spirit of our Lord,
Without giving His life, much greater cost,
thus, more than we could all afford.
To remember the garden, in times of need,
much security there, we shall receive,
When we walk the path that leads the way,
there in our faith, we can believe.
