Preposition is made of two words Pre+position.This means the word that is used before noun or pronoun. Position is used for noun or pronoun and pre is used for those words that are used before noun. Let us learn through examples, how they are made and used.
preposition On and In
The preposition on is used when we place something on the surface of the level or thing. For example as above:--
The owl is on the table. The table is noun and on is used before noun. On is preposition.
When something is placed or in motion or in the room or in between the two things or in the thing preposition in is used:-
The owl is in the box.
Vegetable of potato is in the bowl.
Vegetable of grams is in the bowl.
Pudding is in the bowl.
Pooris are in the plate.
The bowls and a plate are on the mat.
Preposition Under and Over
The owl is under the table.
When something is not touched the upper level preposition under is used.
The owl is jumping over the box.
When a person or thing flies or jumps and does not touch the level then over is used.
Use of preposition into and out
He is coming out from the box.
When something is coming or going from inner to outer surface then out is used. As here is showing above picture
When someone or something is coming or going from outer surface to inner surface then preposition into is used. As in above pictures it's shown
He is going into the box.
He is pouring the milk into the glass.
