Feed a Dolphin at Monkey Mia
Have you ever wanted to get up close to a dolphin ? Are you planning a visit to Monkey Mia to see the dolphins up close and hopefully feed a dolphin ?
There are many places you can see the dolphins in the water or even swim with dolphins however today we went to Monkey Mia in Western Australia and lined up with many others to see Dolphins being fed , something they do every morning at Monkey Mia .
I wanted to feed one for the experience as I had heard about being able to be really close to a dolphin however I thought that it would just be young ones picked from the crowd as that is all you see in adverts or on fliers , young girls in bikini's so it came as a surprise when they pulled older males and females from the crowd to take part in the feeding.
To my delight Anita from Switzerland , one of the volunteers there picked me among others to feed a dolphin a fish ! It happened so fast that we didn't really get the moment on video .
I enjoyed the experience of bing that close to a dolphin and in another hub we share the experience of having a large turtle walk right by us.
However we have some great video footage + photo's to share with you of dolphins up close !!
Up Close & Personal !
I feed a dolphin !

Love to see a dolphin
Do you love to see dolphins playing in the ocean .I have loved dolphins for a long time I used to enjoy it when a dolphin would swim under our boat in the Marlbourough sounds Picton New Zealand .
When I would Walk or bike across the bridge from Forster to Tuncurry in NSW often a dolphin or 2 would swim underneath.
We made a special trip up here without the caravan to see a dolphin up close and personal as well as hopefully see turtles and it was awesome !
Thank You Anita for giving me the opportunity !!
