Angel Tarot - The Gentle Tarot Deck

I've used angel oracle cards for years now, and I love working with them and their intuitive accuracy. But the Angel Tarot is by far the most beautiful and accurate deck of cards I have ever used!

Devised by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine, these cards are an absolute joy to use!

If you are put off Tarot because it seems too complex to learn, or you are afraid of the perceived darker connotations, such as the Death card, then this is the perfect tarot deck for you. Created to be a gentle, more intuitive tarot, this deck exudes both beauty and powerful messages. In the major arcana, cards such as Death and the Hanged Man have been replaced with different names. Each card features an archangel. The four minor arcana suites of swords, pentacles, cups and wands have been replaced with the four elements, fire (represented by dragons), air (represented by unicorns), water (represented by mermaids) and earth (represented by fairies).

The wonderful thing about this deck is that although each card features the key meanings behind it, plus a more detailed explanation in the accompanying guidebook, it is a much more intuitive set than the original tarot. I love the fact that I can use them intuitively with ease right from the outset, but also use it like proper tarot, and learn the meanings behind the cards. I can look into the artwork (which is amazing by the way) and notice elements which have intuitive meanings to me, or dig deeper into the symbology embedded within.

I started working with this deck at the same time as becoming a Certified Angel Card Reader (TM) with Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine, creators of the deck. Despite being an oracle card convert for years, I was still blown away by these cards and how incredibly accurate the readings were that I was getting. They were more than spot on, they were nailing key issues in deeper, more detailed ways than ever!

The readings I have done for others have all been incredibly meaningful and accurate. The messages they give are loving and powerful, and while this is described as a gentle deck, the cards do not sugar coat readings. There are still cards that speak of sadness or grief, changes good or bad. But they convey their message with love and hope.

Recently I was fortunate enough to be at the Angel Card Reader (TM) certification course in London, working with Doreen and Radleigh in person. Looking around at the 500-strong audience, who were all working with this deck, I saw both experienced and completely new readers giving accurate, incredible readings to complete strangers. Those who had previously lacked confidence in doing this, either as a hobby or for a living, suddenly found that confidence through the cards, learning to trust their inner intuition and ability to give readings of meaning. Friendships were made, bonds were forged, and over and over, the cards gave remarkable, spot-on readings.

I turn to this deck frequently, whether pulling a random card for quick insight, or giving myself and others a full, insightful reading. I love it utterly, and if you are drawn to tarot and oracle cards, I know that you will too. There is so much angelic love and power in the cards. Working with this deck is truly magical!
