Chatelherault Hamilton’s famous Park

Chatelherault Park is the only place I have been able to find ancient trees. It all began a long time ago, when I was reading about energy. I went to Chatelherault to see if I could get energy. All appears a bit strange now to even think of this, however, I didn’t know what I was looking for, or indeed what I had to do, but I was certain I would get something from these trees.

I was stressed beyond belief. My living circumstances were out of control and I was lacking in energy and power. I went to the forest to collect little sticks initially to be placed in baskets I had bought at a cash & Carry along with pot pourri. My intention was to break up the little sticks and tie them with thread to be placed in the baskets with the pot pourri then sold.

I wandered out and in these huge massive trees, holding my breath in awe at the height and breadth of them. In a way I was filled with sorrow as I thought about the destruction of the rain forest and the greed of man against nature. Perhaps I did receive energy, and if nothing else I definitely received a bit of gratitude. The forest itself still remains in its awesome beauty.

Part of the great park in Hamilton has a café and a shop which sells Crystals and souvenirs and has lots of interesting exhibits pertaining to the Park, forest and surrounding areas.

The walk initially through the woods runs alongside the local golf course so listen out for “four!”

Once you cut down the stairs the whole forest comes to life with the sound of the water and the river carrying the loose leaves down to the next watching pair of eyes distracted from the trees.
