Cuba is a absolute catastrophe.  US interference in Cuba affairs?  lol

I wish those Castro brothers would kick the bucket already so I can get some decent cigars!

      lol
Agree fully - only had Cuban cigars once, but they were divine!

Like cuban cigars?  Hop a flight to Nassau, then to Cuba.  Buy a bunch.  Smuggle them back into US.  Sell a few to friends.  Result:  Free trip to Cuba + a private stash of Cuban cigars.  Isn't it wonderful how government policies make it easy to enjoy a good smoke?

The good thing is that they are not contraband in Europe. smile

The bad thing is that they are very expensive. sad

My partner took a trip to Venezuela a few years back, and brought me back a box. A fine Cuban cigar and a good brandy = Bliss wink

If you read my hub titled Smoke Demon you will know my take on such "bliss".   My father smoked cigars all his life.  I remember coming home from school to enter a purple haze of smoke that was difficult to see through to look out of the picture windows in our living room.

This is sounds too good to be true...how do you trick US Customs?  Aren't you concerned that you may end up being a permanent guest of Mr. Castro and friends?

It used to be possible because the Cubans didn't stamp US passports.  And no one particularly cared who bought tickets to Cuba from Nassau.  But I've heard recently that it doesn't work anymore.  I don't know.
