I am taking the PRAXIS I (writing, reading and mathematics) this Saturday. I've been studying diligently and taking lots of practice tests, but I still can't kick that nervous feeling. Any advice for test day? Any test tips?
Well, as a retired teacher and current test scorer, I can recommend Imagery as a good method to help with nerves. Imagine palces or things that you do that are plesnat and fun. just don't break out laughing in the middle of the test!
Also practice with a friend and if you score well enough, you should feel more confident and less nervous.
Don't forget to wear your glasses if you need them.I didn't wear mine and now see some typos. oops.
I took the test (computerized) today and did great! Thanks for your advice!!!
