Where is the best location to live in the United States considering the current economic recession?
If you own a home, the best place to be in a recession is right where you are. Trying to sell a house in this economy is a nightmare.
Perhaps, the US is not really the best place right now. With talks of a looming financial collapse and a mass revolution (I'm not saying this, search 'Gerald Celente'), your best bet would be to leave the country. I myself moved to Canada. We're doing better here.
The Mid West and particularily North Dakota seem to be doing well during this period of slow growth/recession. The Mid West because the weak dollar is causing manufacturing to pick up, and demand for farm products is as strong as ever. North Dakota because of the oil boom.
