Why is it that humans are naturally unsatisfiable?? Why are we just not happy with what we have??
Why do we always want more?? We always think the grass is greener on the other side.. If we have $100 we want $200.. If we have a 50" flat screen we want a 56" plasma.. Why is it so hard for us to settle with what we have??

This is a recipe for unhappiness.Happy person is one that is content with what one has,not one that has many things.
Some are obsessed with keeping up with the Joneses and feel they aren't successful if they don't have the newest and greatess. It's a shame -- they pass that on their children and the cycle continues.
I think part of it could be not appreciating what we already have. One thing to think about is what if we lost all material goods tomorrow? Perspective can really make a difference.
