Can any one help me with confidence intervals I have no idea how to do them?

One of the easiest ways to calculate confidence intervals when you have both the standard deviation and size of the sample is to use the CONFIDENCE function in Excel. The function is formatted as:

=CONFIDENCE(alpha, standard deviation, size)

Unless you have a set value for alpha, enter .05 (this gives you a 95% confidence level, which is standard).

Excel will return the confidence interval for the data set.
